◇ In the day of prosperity, be joyful, but in the day of adversity, consider God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. Ecclesiastes 7:14 KJV
Hallelujah. Powerful scripture there. The NKJV says:
👉🏼 When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future. Ecclesiastes 7:14
Wow, wow. What a scripture. Now listen, somebody.
In life, you will have both days. How you manage both of them will determine your destiny.
- When you have happy days, be joyful. Do not be sad in happy moments. Rejoice and celebrate in those moments. However, make sure that you don’t go overboard. Be within scripture limits. People have suffered heavy consequences for foolish happiness, which goes overboard.
- In bad day, the scripture says consider. To consider is to get yourself into a special thinking which brings all aspects of the matter making it bad due into thought process. This type of thinking requires you to be in a quiet place where you can look at the whole situation properly. People who do not consider matters when things are not working become victims of circumstances. Fate easily hits on them. They lack control of circumstances surrounding them. And they easily end up taking the easier routes, which leads to destruction.
Now, the key to both type of days is to make sure that you have self-control and Jesus your Saviour will give you the ability to navigate through them. It is important to have the quality of self-control for you to live a powerful life in both days.
May you not struggle to understand the word of God in this moment.
May God aid you in your life and give you more happy moments in this world as you serve Him. May God bless you and have a glorious day.
Amen
