“And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother. And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.”

In the moments that you are too excited, be careful of what you say and what you promise. Excitement without the direction of the Holy Spirit can be very costly.

Excitement without thinking through a matter can bring you sorrow. Always think through a matter before you say it. If you do not have much time and they want you to say something within a second and you are excited, say, “Let me come back to you.” Do not be pressured by a moment and circumstances.

Also, you must always look at the people you are giving an open cheque to. If you give an open cheque to the child of the devil, she will write the head of John the Baptist on it. She will demand those things you revere for your fear of God. Be mindful of whom you open your cheque to. They might destroy you.

King Herold lamented his error in judgment. But it was too late. It was an oath, and many witnesses were there. The king was bound by great a multitude of witnesses who were there hearing his promise. While he did not consult his advisers before making his promise, she went and consulted her mother, who told her to go and write the name of John the Baptist on the open cheque. John the Baptist was the only person who was helping Herold to fear God, and Herodias hated him. You can not open the cheque to daughters and sons of the devil. They will take you out of the Holy place. Be careful and exercise wise judgments as you continually consult with the Holy Spirit for guidance in all things. In the multitude of counselors, there is safety.

May God help you in your decisions today. May you walk in the power of God. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Have a blessed and glorious day

Amen
